Direct behavioral health fee schedule updates effective July 1, 2022

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Anthem) in Wisconsin has completed a review of our standard behavioral health fee schedules to ensure they meet the needs of our members, employer groups, and customers in this increasingly competitive and challenging environment. As a result, you will see the following modifications to our standard behavioral health fee schedules effective July 1, 2022:

 

• The Behavioral Health MD fee schedule WI378 will update rates for E/M codes
  99212, 99213, 99214, and 99215
  
  
• Autism CPT codes 97151, 97152, 97153, 97155, 97156 will see an update for
  all 4 behavioral health fee schedules: WI378, WI379, WI380, and WI381

 

The fee schedule changes will be available for review via the secure Availity Portal after

June 1, 2022. To view contracted reimbursement rates, log on to Availity, choose Payer Spaces from the main menu bar, and select Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and the

Fee Schedule application.  Your Availity Access Administrator will need to assign the Fee Schedule Role to users to view this information.

 

Availity is an independent company providing a wide variety of online tools that allow providers to access real-time information from multiple payers via one secure sign-on.  Availity has many other features and functions that will help you work more effectively
