RETRACTION: Notice of Material Amendment: Clinical coding changes effective February 1, 2024

Effective for dates of service on and after February 1, 2024, clinical edits will be implemented for the procedure codes listed below for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield providers. According to Milliman Care Guidelines (MCG), their current role remains uncertain and there are currently no clinical indications for this technology. These edits are intended to help manage procedures and tests that are experimental/investigational or unproven and to align OH Medicaid Managed Care with standard Medicaid business practices. The following procedure codes will result in denied claims for all diagnoses and clinical indications. If you disagree with the denial decision, you can request reconsideration through the claim payment dispute process.
