Billing for durable medical equipment

Please note that durable medical equipment (DME) claims should be billed with the appropriate modifier for accurate reimbursement and to prevent claim denials. Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Anthem) accepts all Ohio Department of Medicaid approved modifiers.
