What are three things everyone should know about you?

I am from Franklin, Ohio and have lived in Franklin my whole life. We are a tight-knit community and value our sports teams. Our motto: Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat.

I love traveling to tropical destinations — anywhere there is a beach. I have been to Jamacia, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. So, you could say I love the salt life.

I have three awesome kids and a stepdaughter. Ali is 31 and has worked at a dispatch company for over 10 years. Tristen, my son, is 28 and has worked as a tile fitter for the last 5 years. Hannah is my youngest — She is 26 and works in food service.

My stepdaughter, Makenzie, is 13 and keeps me very busy with cheer competitions. I also have five grandchildren that are the loves of my life.

One thing you never leave home without?

For me, the one thing I always make sure I have is my debit card. I love to shop, and you never know when you will find something you need. I will say I am always smart about my spending. I know when to tell myself no.

Who has been most influential in your life?

My dad. He was the hardest working man I know. My dad taught me that if you want something in life, you must work hard to get it. He taught me to never give up on your dreams. I have tried raising my kids with the same work ethic as my dad instilled into me.
