New Blue HPN® network included in plans available for employee open enrollment Fall 2021

As employers across the country host open enrollment periods for their employees, those in Maine have the opportunity to offer a new option this fall - plans built around a statewide Blue High Performance Network.

 

BlueHPN® plans offer access to a select set of providers with a record of delivering high-quality, efficient care. BlueHPN networks launched in 2021 in more than 50 markets across the country. As of January 1, 2022, Anthem will also offer plans with access to the statewide HPN in Maine.

             

Beginning January 1, you may see patients accessing this network through a BlueHPN national employer plan or a local employer HMO plan.

 

If you are not sure whether your practice is part of the network, ask your office manager or business office, or contact your Anthem network representative. BlueHPN participation will be displayed in provider profiles in our provider directory January 1, 2022.
