Indiana PathWays for Aging claims testing period
Purpose
In order to support Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) providers in transitioning to managed care as a part of the Indiana PathWays for Aging network, we are offering a claims testing period to all contracted care providers who would like to test the claims processing systems for Anthem.
What to expect
Care providers who are interested in testing claims may sign up by sending an email to INLTSSClaimsTesting@anthem.com and including the organization’s name and tax ID by
April 12, 2024.
Prior to the claims testing period, care providers who express interest in testing claims will receive a Testing Process Guide along with instructions on how to register for Availity Essential’s QA environment. The Testing Process Guide will instruct care providers on submitting test claims through Availity and will contain test scenarios as well as outline expected outcomes.
Care providers are invited to submit up to five test claims through the Availity QA environment within the two-week test window.
Timeframes
Claims testing sign up:
- April 8, 2024, to April 12, 2024
Claims testing dates:
- April 15, 2024, to April 28, 2024
What if I have questions or need assistance?
If you have questions specific to claims testing, please contact INLTSSClaimsTesting@anthem.com. Claims processing specialists will confirm with care providers whether their test claims were accepted, rejected for technical issues, or denied.
If you have general questions, please contact INMLTSSProviderRelations@anthem.com.
