Where to send expedited appeals

Our Grievances and Appeal team in Local Georgia and National East are having issues with providers sending their expedited appeals to a fax number (888-859-3046) that is not coming directly to the Grievances and Appeal team. The delay keeps us from servicing our members and providers timely when the request is expedited or urgent.

We encourage our providers to use the ICR portal through Availity Essentials to submit expedited or urgent appeal requests. As a second option, submitting by fax is available to the fax numbers below.

Expedited appeals can be sent to the following fax numbers:

• 855-298-4264 for Local Georgia
• 855-398-1276 for National East
