All care providers must attest to their demographic information to ensure we have the most accurate information at our disposal, enhancing patient satisfaction and simplifying the reimbursement process.

Why is this important?

Keeping your demographic data current ensures compliance with industry standards and directly impacts your visibility to patients seeking care.

How do I attest to my data?

Attestation must be done through Availity Essentials.

  1. Start by going to https://Availity.com and selecting New to Availity?
  2. Select Get Started at the top of the home screen to access the registration page. If you have more than one TIN, ensure you have registered all TINs associated with your account.
    • Large group providers: We recommend using the downloadable roster functionality for efficient demographic updates.
    • Small group providers: Use the Core PDM feature in Availity Essentials for a streamlined approach
  3. Review your data: Ensure your demographic information is up‑to‑date.
  4. Attestation process: Follow the attached directions using the recommended tools to complete the attestation process
  5. Confirmation: Submit your attestation as soon as possible to secure your directory listing.
