Support for Virginia Medicaid members during open enrollment

Key updates in Virginia Medicaid, effective July 1, 2025:

• Molina to Humana transition: Members currently with Molina will be transitioned to Humana Healthy Horizons of Virginia.
• New foster care coverage: HealthKeepers, Inc. will exclusively manage the Foster Care Specialty Plan, which benefits foster, former foster, and adoption assistance members.
• Special open enrollment period: From June 19, 2025, to September 30, 2025, all Medicaid members, including those moved from Molina to Humana, have the flexibility to switch plans. This is the perfect time for your clients to ensure their preferred healthcare services align with their chosen Managed Care Organization (MCO). During this time, all members will have a chance to switch, ensuring seamless access to desired medical services and extra benefits.

• Choose one item from the Asthma/COPD catalog to manage respiratory health
• $400 annually for over‑the‑counter supplies, facilitating better health management
