May is dedicated to mental health

We advocate for a holistic approach to health by considering its social, physical, and behavioral aspects. To honor May's National Health Observances — notably mental health — we're introducing three eLearning tools on My Diverse Patients. This comprehensive hub provides resources for healthcare providers to support diverse patient needs. It also houses various free continuing medical education (CME) courses, including those accredited by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).

During the month of May, our featured eLearning experiences and resources are:

  • Caring for Children with ADHD course:
    • Acquire CME credits.
    • Enhance knowledge for accurate ADHD diagnosis in young patients and application of effective, age-fit multimodal treatment plans.
    • Discover benefits of applying strategies from AAFP's Caring for Children with ADHD: A Resource Toolkit for Clinicians.
    • Learn integration of the online ADHD Toolkit into electronic medical records and office workflow.
  • Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) Overcoming Obstacles webinar series:

  • Cultural Humility course:
    • Understand cultural humility.
    • Assess the limitations of cultural competence.
    • Comprehend the differences between cultural competence and cultural humility in a healthcare setting.

These courses are designed for doctors (CME credit provided for several), nurses, health professionals, and medical office staff.

Providers can view these courses, webinars, and resources on their smartphone, tablet, or computer.
