Change to Service Facilitation codes
Please note, this communication applies to Anthem HealthKeepers Plus Medicaid products offered by HealthKeepers, Inc.
Configuration changes to Service Facilitation codes are being made retroactively to January 1, 2022. This will change the system configuration from a rolling year to a calendar year. This change ensures that if the care provider's claims are within the visit limitations, the claims will be processed accordingly regardless of when the member enrolled or when the member's Consumer Directed Personal Attendant or Respite authorizations renew:
- T1028- Reassessment visit — two visits per calendar year
- S5116 - Training Hours — four per calendar year
No care provider action is required, this notification is informational only. However, if a care provider believes claims for either of these codes are denied incorrectly, they can reach out to their assigned regional care provider relations representative or reach us at VALTSSPR@anthem.com.
