Update to AIM Specialty Health oncologic imaging clinical appropriateness guidelines
Effective for dates of service on and after May 1, 2021, the following update will apply to the AIM Oncologic Imaging Clinical Appropriateness Guideline as recommended by the
the United States Preventive Service Taskforce Lung Cancer: Screening (USPSTF) statement.
- Expanded low-dose CT screening for ages equal to or greater than 50 and less than or equal to 80 AND 20 or greater pack-year history of cigarette smoking.
