What are three things everyone should know about you?

I am Ohio born and raised, and I went to the University of Toledo…go Rockets! My husband and I got married in Corolla Outer Banks, North Carolina. We dream of one day living a coastal lifestyle, preferably in the OBX. We also love to travel — see new cities, eat good food, and enjoy the locale.

Ever since I was in college, I wanted to get a motorcycle and ride my own bike. When I met my now husband, he taught me how to ride on his BMW S1000RR. I got my bike about a year later — a Honda CBR 1000RR. We love to cruise on country roads or head toward downtown for dinner and a sunset. I’ve always been an adventurous/adrenaline-spirited person. It started when I was 15 months old on summer vacation with my family. I was sitting on a jet ski tied up to the dock and rocking it with a mile-wide smile. After my dad saw that and my mom snapped a photo, my dad took me out to putter around the bay, and he told me I was laughing the whole time. That’s when I got the bug.

Other than making my heart rate spike on adrenaline rushes, I can be calm, too! I love walks with my golden retrievers and playing golf. I played in high school and was one of the top three golfers on the team. I, oftentimes, surprise people when they hear I golf, but I enjoy my time on the course and trials the game presents.

What’s one thing you never leave home without?

I don’t leave home without a tube of Burt’s Bees lip balm!

Who has been most influential in your life?

My uncle and my best friend from college. Both have shown me strength, courage, and tenacity in their own lives and have inspired me to infuse those qualities into every chapter of my life. I always lean on my uncle for financial guidance, and he’s never steered me wrong. As for my best friend, she radiates with kindness and gratitude, and there never is a dull moment with her.
