Reimbursement policy update: Bundled Services and Supplies policy – Professional

Beginning with dates of service on or after September 1, 2023, Empire BlueCross BlueShield (Empire) will update the Bundled Services and Supplies – Professional reimbursement policy as follows:

The following codes will be added under Section 1: Services and supplies not eligible for separate reimbursement:

• G2212
• G0316 – G0318
• M0001-M0005
• M1150-M1210

The following codes will be removed from Section 2: Procedures, services and supplies not eligible for separate reimbursement when reported with another specific procedure, service, or supply:

• 99217-99220, 99241 and 99251 from the code pair with 69209 and 69210
• 99242-99245 and 99252-99255 from the code pair with 69209 and 69210
• 76604, 76705-76706, 76770, 76775-76776, 76815 from the code pair with 99281-99285 and 99221-99233
