New Reimbursement Policy - Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program Services Facility

Beginning January 1, 2024, Empire became Anthem. This article, published under the former brand, now applies to Anthem.

Beginning with dates of service on or after July 1, 2019, Empire will implement the new facility reimbursement policy, Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program Services. This policy applies a limit of one (1) unit of service per day for partial hospitalization program and/or intensive outpatient programs.  For more information about this new policy, visit the Reimbursement Policy page at empireblue.com/provider.
