Name change — Pathway PPO to Blue Priority PPO
Important
Anthem is expanding the Pathway PPO network and changing the name to Blue Priority PPO, effective January 1, 2025.
What does this mean for you?
This is just a name change for the network and will not impact your contract or reimbursements, nor will it impact patients’ plan benefits or coverage:
- Pathway HMO will not be affected.
- You and your patients will see the name change from Pathway PPO to Blue Priority PPO as group health plans renew throughout 2025:
- Patients may still present Pathway PPO ID cards throughout 2025.
- You can refer to your provider agreement to confirm your participation in the Pathway PPO network, but if you are participating with Pathway PPO, you will also participate with Blue Priority PPO.
