Update to cardiology services

Anthem has recently changed the capitation arrangement for inpatient and outpatient cardiology-related services for our Medicaid members who reside in Clark County and are 19 years of age or older.

Effective July 1, 2024, our exclusive arrangement with Nevada Heart and Vascular Center as our capitated cardiology group will be terminated. While Nevada Heart and Vascular Center will remain an in-network cardiology group for our members, Anthem has secured agreements with most of the other cardiology provider organizations within the community, securing coverage and access to care for patients with cardiac needs.
