New Convenient Care HMO Plan and updated Prefix Reference List

We are pleased to introduce Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s (Anthem’s) new Convenient Care HMO plan in Nevada to small, large, and individual groups in Las Vegas, Nevada as of January 1, 2023. Convenient Care HMO is a transformative healthcare solution that offers convenient and affordable access to a network of virtual care and in-person providers in a seamless digital experience. In addition to 24/7 inbound customer support, the plan includes outreach by healthcare coordinators. The Sydney Health^SM mobile app acts as a hub for care and uses virtual primary care as the front door.

 

With the implementation of this new plan, there will be new prefixes in effect for providers. The Prefix Reference List has been updated and is available online. Go to anthem.com and select Providers. Under Communications, select Contact Us. Select Nevada and then select Prefix Reference List. For more information, you may also contact Provider Service at the number on the back of their patient’s member ID card.
