HPV Vaccine Provider Incentive Program ages 9 to 13
Getting vaccinated against HPV is one of the best and safest ways people can prevent and protect their children against six types of cancer. As a participating practice in the HPV Provider Vaccine Incentive Program, we recognize your hard work by offering incentives for helping patients make the choice to become vaccinated.
Eligibility
The HPV Vaccine Provider Incentive Program is open to you if you are a participating Kentucky PCP with an Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medicaid (Anthem) panel that includes ages 9 to 13. All Anthem members ages 9 to 13 identified as receiving both doses of the HPV vaccination by the patient’s 13th birthday are included in the methodology. Vaccine results will be determined by an HPV vaccine claim or by confirmation from the Kentucky Vaccine Registry.
How you can qualify for a bonus
As you continue to help guide patients toward HPV vaccination, your practice will receive $250 per Anthem member ages 9 to 13 fully vaccinated by the patient’s 13th birthday or December 31, 2023, if the patient has not yet turned 13 by the end of 2023.
The program is discretionary and subject to modification because of changes in government healthcare requirements or otherwise. Anthem will determine if the requirements are satisfied, and payments will be made solely at Anthem’s discretion. If changes are made to the program, Anthem will send notification through means permitted.
When you will receive your bonus
You will receive two payments throughout the year. This first payment will be on or before July 31, 2023, and will include payment for all Anthem members ages 9 to 13 fully vaccinated between January 1, 2023, and
June 30, 2023. This second payment will be on or before January 31, 2024, and will include payment for all Anthem members ages 9 to 13 fully vaccinated between July 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023. The payments will be sent by electronic funds transfer or check based on the payment method used for claim reimbursement. Please allow 7 to 10 business days to receive payment. If you have not received it within that time frame, reach out to a Provider Relationship Management consultant at 800-205-5870, option 3.
