State of Connecticut Network of Distinction

As you may know based on the press releases issued by State Comptroller Kevin Lembo, 2020 is heralding a new and important program sponsored by the State of Connecticut for the tens of thousands members of its Health Benefits Plans, which includes state employees and selected municipalities, school systems and other public sector employees and their families. This program includes the designation of physicians and facilities into a Network of Distinction and/or Centers of Excellence for specific conditions and procedures. Providers can be named into that Network based on a combination of the price and quality of care delivered for any one of those conditions or procedures. The Office of the State Comptroller has selected Norwalk-based Remedy to lead this important effort.
