Reimbursement policy update: Virtual Visits – Professional and Facility

Beginning with dates of service on or after January 1, 2024, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Anthem) will update the Virtual Visits – Professional and Facility reimbursement policy to indicate that services reported by a professional provider with a place of service 02 (telehealth provided other than in patient’s home) or 10 (telehealth provided in patient’s home) will be eligible for non-office place of service reimbursement.
