Provider Manuals for professional and facility providers updated July 1, 2020

We are pleased to announce that a new Anthem Provider Manual, incorporating information for both professional and hospital/facility providers, will be available on anthem.com by July 1, 2020.  The provider manual replaces the prior version published in July 2019, and it allows you to link directly to many important forms, policies, and tools on our website. These links to material that we frequently update on our website will help ensure that you are receiving the most current information available.

 

The manual will be available on the provider portal of anthem.com. Select Providers, then, under the Provider Resources heading, select Policies, Guidelines and Manuals.  Enter Connecticut as state, scroll to Provider Manuals, and select Download Provider Manual. Archived copies of the 2018 and 2019 provider manual will remain available at the same location for reference to prior information. However, for current reference needs, please ensure that you select the July 2020 manual after July 1, 2020.
