Prior authorization suspension for Anthem Connecticut in-network hospital transfers to in-network skilled nursing facilities effective Dec. 12, 2022 - March 15, 2023
Beginning December 12, 2022, and ending March 15, 2023, Anthem will temporarily suspend prior authorization and late call penalties for Medicare and Commercial plans for an in-network hospital located in Connecticut to an in-network skilled nursing facility (SNF) located in Connecticut. Please note that admissions will continue to be reviewed during this period for medical necessity by retrospective or concurrent review.
