Delay in processing paper claims and correspondence
This communication applies to Commercial and Medicare Advantage plans from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Due to a recent system migration in March 2023, we have experienced a disruption in processing paper claims and correspondence for our Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and FEHBP/FEP lines of business. The system issue has been addressed, and normal processing has resumed.
However, you may experience a delay in response to your paper claims and correspondence submitted during this time. Be assured that all efforts are being employed to respond to you in a timely manner.
