What is the Provider Satisfaction Survey (PSAT)?

NCQA-certified survey vendor assists Anthem with conducting quality assurance reviews of network primary care, obstetrical, specialist providers, and behavioral health clinicians in Medicaid markets as defined by Anthem.

The objectives are to achieve the following:

  • Assess providers’ overall satisfaction with Anthem.
  • Assess satisfaction with the following areas:
    • Claims processing and provider reimbursement, utilization management, population health, training and education, provider services, communications, continuity and coordination of care, cultural competency, and other provider services.
