PCP IDs may change as part of HMO redesign

The upcoming HMO redesign aims to enhance the accuracy and alignment of care provider data across our network. This initiative will be implemented for the Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medi‑Cal Managed Care lines of business in California.

Key change:

  • Some PCPs may be assigned alphanumeric provider IDs (ABC‑123, for example).
  • Site codes will not be affected.
